A giclée print is an individually produced, high-resolution print made using a new sophisticated wide format inkjet printer technology. A state-of-the-art digital printer sprays millions of drops of ink per square inch onto specially treated canvas or paper, producing a large archival quality image with brilliant velvety colours, crisp contrasts and razor-sharp details.
Giclée (“zhee-clay”), a French word meaning “that which is sprayed or squirted” is a highly advanced method of computer-controlled, fine-art reproduction using archival dye-based inks. A sophisticated ink-jet printer designed specifically for this process creates a near-continuous-tone image on fine-art media such as water colour paper and canvas with greater permanence than previous processes used to print lithographic art reproductions
Our Giclée prints are printed on high quality canvas.
